Kwara Gov. Sacks Cabinet Members
The Executive Governor of Kwara State, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has dissolved his cabinet, this was revealed in a letter dated 31st December 2020 and made available to the newsman in Ilorin on Sunday.
The letter which was signed by the Secretary to the state Government Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril, the governor thanked the members of his cabinet for their services to the state and ordered them to hand over to the most Senior officer in their respective ministries and departments.
The dissolution which excluded the Secretary to the state government affected the commissioners, special advisers,Special assistant and other appointed political office holders in the state.

Recalled that the Governor appointed his cabinet members in 2019 and gave women larger percentage which has earned him an international award for gender equality advocate.
It should also be noted that the governor and his party has been at loggerhead for appointing his cabinet without recourse to the contribution of the party and the stakeholders in the party. This has generated a lot of controversies which may be the reason for the dissolution of the cabinet.
